Even though we are called "The Water Guy", it was really Two Water Guys that started this business, each with a company and a focus of their own. One was a well service company with a EcoWater treatment franchise and the other was a water systems builder.

In 2001 these two water treatment companies were joined and The Water Guy ~ Echo Water & Well Service has been our full name ever since. The treatment franchise was let go of in 2001 and in 2002 a close relationship began with a progressive and fast growing company called Waterite Technologies, Inc.

Although Waterite quickly became one of our main water equipment manufacturers with its wide range of water treatment products and services, we also developed many long term relationships since the early 1990's with some of the largest water equipment distributors in North America. Many of which you can find on this website.

As a Canadian company with strong roots in the community, our pledge is to never forget the foundations of what has earned us such solid relationships with our Local and Online Clients since our humble beginnings... regardless of the distances involved.

Both our Local and Online Service divisions have seen our Client's awareness and understanding of their water constantly evolve as our relationships with them have grown.

Decades ago we could spend hours in a Client's home, explaining why they might be interested in an iron filter as they asked about a large orange semi-circle that had damaged the side of their house from having their lawn sprinkler hit it.
