Enhance the purity of your water with the AquaSulis Chlorine Removal UpFlow Filter. Experience whole-house or pre-treatment correction for chlorine removal. This system will reduce and or remove chemicals, protect your health and your chemical sensitive applications. These in/out systems are a second tier filtration solution, the first tier being catridge type filters and the third tier being large tank based systems with automatic control valves that can backwash, rinse and repack the media bed.

The filtration in this system is accomplished by a bed of high-quality eco friendly Coconut Carbon media. This medias is specifically produced to remove chemicals, such as chlorine, herbicides and pesticides. These are the most common contaminents found in municipla water supplies.

You can choose from several connection fittings sets to match your plumbing to make for an easy installation. Unlike other systems, this valve head is non-electric and does not require backwashing. Installation only requires an in and out connection, as it comes with a built-in bypass valve. It is recommended to remove sediment before this filter. If you have know sediement issues call or write us to help find the right sediment pre-filter for your application.

Maintenance

The media in this filter will eventually need to be replaced as it can become depleted, worn and inactive. This is dependent on your water conditions, flow rate and amount if water through the system. For most families, you will need to replace the media every 5 to 7 years. This can be done easily by removing the valve head and either shop vacuming it out or washing it out and adding more media. Testing the water with a meter or test strips is the best way to determine if it's time to change out the old media.
