The PearlAqua Micro creates a brand new category of UV disinfection – Micro UV™. It is the world’s smallest UV disinfection system. The Micro offers validated disinfection performance through UV-C LEDs and a patented flow cell design. PearlAqua Micro is designed to be integrated into point-of-use systems.

Central to the PearlAqua Micro 12C is it's UV-C LED technology, coupled with innovative reactor design features, it provides over 99.99% pathogen reduction at 2 gpm (8 lpm), ideal for reverse osmosis systems, water servers, dispensers, directly at a point of use. It features an integrated LED driver, visible “blue glow” option, low power consumption, and unlimited on/off cycling.

The PearlAqua Micro is Tested and Certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI 55 for materials and structural integrity requirements and 100% Lead-Free.

The AutoMate Flow Switch/Sensor

This compliments the PearlAqua Micro reactor with added flow sensor features to offer fully automated UV treatment simply with the flow of water. Unlike conventional mercury lamps, UV LEDs can be switched on and off without any lamp warm-up times. This intermittent flow capability leads to greater power savings and prolongs lamp life. The LEDs inside the PearlAqua last for 10,000 hours. The PearlAqua LED system can be turned on/off an infinite number of times per day, so the unit only runs when water is flowing through it, greatly extending the lamp replacement interval. For example, a PearlAqua unit that is on for 2 hours a day will only need a lamp replacement every 14 years!

Design Difference

LEDs do not transfer heat to the water, thus limiting fouling and ensuring a constant UV output regardless of water temperature.
The ability to operate LEDs during treatment only lowers water temperatures within the UV System. Lower operating temperatures reduce lamp fouling potential and result in fewer maintenance requirements.
