Keeping food and beverage equipment running efficiently and providing good tasting water is a necessity in the food industry. Cooking and heating systems use softening and phosphate media to condition the feed water water to prevent scale build up. Ice makers, beverage dispensers and coffee machines rely on consistent water quality with filter that remove ionic impurities and taste and odors.

Phosphate products are a form of slowly soluble polyphosphate available in small, glassy beads. Phosphate products dissolve at a controlled concentration to prevent scale formation and corrosion. Phosphate can be fed at different concentrations in order to fit particular treatment situations or requirements. Normally a concentration of Phosphate at threshold levels of 0.5-5.0 ppm polyphosphate will inhibit scale and corrosion.
