Aries 10" Big Blue Filter with 2lbs of KDF85 and Coconut Carbon in a GAC Style Filter

Used in combination with Activated Coconut Carbon, KDF can significantly extend the life of filter cartridges. KDF 85 is an oxidation-reduction (redox) media that removes chlorine, KDF-85 removes chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, and removes iron or reduces many other contaminants including a reduction in heavy metals. KDF is available in several varieties for specific applications, both KDF redox medias are bacteriostatic and control the growth of micro-organisms in filters. KDF allows Activated Carbon to do a better job at removing taste and odors giving you amazing water!
