Excelpure 10” Big Blue GAC Coconut Shell Carbon Filter in 5 Microns

GAC type cartridges are designed to allow maximum contact time between the water and the carbon media. They allow water to enter at one end and pass through the entire length of the carbon bed, exiting the other end of the cartridge and ensuring maximum adsorption. As the water exits the cartridge a 5 micron post filter reduces carbon fines and other suspended particles from the filtered water.

Features:

  • Reduces or removes chlorine, pesticides, herbicides, acid rain, voc’s, colour, lead, taste and odors and fine sediment.
  • 5 micron post filter reduces carbon fines from the drinking water
  • Carbon made from environmentally friendly Coconut Shells produce healthier, better-tasting drinking water
  • When the cartridge is finished you can remove and compost the carbon media
  • GAC cartridges are designed for maximum contact time and adsorption
