Aries 20" Big Blue Filter with 5lbs of KDF55 and Coconut Carbon in a GAC Style Filter

Used in combination with Activated Coconut Carbon, KDF can significantly extend the life of filter cartridges. KDF 55 is an oxidation-reduction (redox) media that removes chlorine, many other contaminants including a reduction in heavy metals. KDF is available in several varieties for specific applications, both KDF redox media is bacteriostatic and control the growth of micro-organisms in filters. KDF allows Activated Carbon to do a better job at removing taste and odors giving you amazing water!
