This valve is also used by many companies such as Viqua, Advanced Water Products, Waterite, Fusion2, V360, Watts, ValueMax,.. under their own brand names though the proper part number is usually listed in the owners/service manual. This part is used regardless of whether the valve is part of water softener or used in a filter type of application (Iron Filter, Carbon Filter, NextSand Filter, MultiMedia Filter...). This part is sometimes referred to as a piston stack, and reference to the valve is sometimes mistakenly written as WSI instead of WS1
